Dr. Jared Smith is a Colorado native, having grown up in Florence. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine in 2002, as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society. He then returned to Colorado to practice dentistry here in Canon City, where he now resides with his wife Andrea, three children Josh, Ally, Jake and beloved Great Danes, Khan and Captain. Dr. Smith enjoys spending his time with family, listening to classical music and riding motorcycles. With a passion for the latest advances in dental procedures and equipment, Dr. Smith chose general dentistry because he gets to enjoy helping his patients on a personal level through all phases of dentistry. With a commitment to continuing education he is able to give his patients the best possible dental care. Dr. Smith is proud to offer a wide range of services including, Cerec one appointment crowns and bridges, dental implants, root canal treatment, 3D imaging and many others. Because of his strong ties and dedication to our community he volunteers many hours to community service, such as his work in “crown town” where he annually works with Colorado Mission of Mercy to provide care to those in need. Dr. Smith is a member of the Delta Dental Achievement Network, has been awarded for achievement in occlusion and TMJ functions, along with being voted “Fremont County’s Best Dentist” by Canon City Daily Record readers choice award in 2015.
