Upscale yet comfortable, Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery offers great food, excellent service with handcrafted ales and lagers to please. Rock Bottom is located between the Cinemark Theaters and Powers Blvd. on the city's Northeast side. Rock Bottom is a chain, which is nothing new in Colorado Springs, but this Restaurant/Brewery knows how to do it right!

We've visited for lunch, dinner, and a post movie cocktail. Both times we ate in the restaurant it was very crowded but the wait staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The after movie drinks included Beer samplers and Cosmopolitans (made exceptionally well by Darcy our bartender).

The Tenderloin with Roasted Garlic was amazing and just the right size at 8 ounces. The steak cuts like butter and the bits of roasted garlic are heavenly as long as you share with your significant other! The Alder-Smoked Salmon, grilled and served with mango salsa was fabulous. The salmon was perfectly cooked, the salsa was delicious and the accompanying white cheddar mashed potatoes, and fresh green beans made for a meal you can't wait to go back for!

The appetizers we tasted were very good as well including the Ball Park Pretzels and Brewery Nachos. The Pretzels were served with a spicy spinach dip that goes great with that beer sampler and the Brewery Nachos were loaded with refried beans, melted Cheddar and Monterey Jack, fresh tomatoes, jalapenos and red onions. On our next trip we want to try the Titan Toothpicks, their signature appetizer, which combines smoked chicken, Jack cheese, peppers and onions in hand-rolled, fried tortillas. Served with guacamole, sour cream, fresh salsa and spicy chipotle BBQ sauce it sounds delicious.

Unfortunately we did not have room for dessert, however we got a glimpse of some other tables and they looked sure to please!
