Q: How much does it cost to register?
A: Registration is FREE.

Q: Do I have to register to use the site?
A: No. You can browse and search ads without registering. You should still register, to save time, as the site will remember various preferences for you. If you want to create ads, you will need to register. Registration is FREE.

Q: Do I have to register in each section of SpringsGuide to run ads in the different sections of the site?
A: No. Your single registration is good for all sections of the site.

Q: How much do ads cost?
A: All basic ads are free! Featured ads are priced as follows: Community-$49.95, Classifieds-$9.95, Real Estate-$29.95, Autos-$19.95, Employment-$29.95

Q: What is a featured ad?
A: Featured ads appear in listings before basic ads. A nominal fee is charged for featured ads.

Q: How long do ads run?
A: Community ads run for 1 year. Classified, Real Estate, Auto and Employment ads run for 90 days. If you have a subscription your ads can run for up to 365 days.

Q: What are the benefits of a subscription?
A: You save money instead of buying more than one featured ad. ALL subscriber ads are featured at no extra charge.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept MasterCard and Visa through the site. If you wish to pay via check, please contact us.

Q: Do I have to register to create ads?
A: Yes. You must be a registered user to create ads. Registration is free.

Q: What section of the web site should I advertise in?
A: Community Guide - To advertise businesses, organizations and web sites
Classifieds - To advertise merchandise for sale.
Real Estate - To advertise real estate for sale or rent.
Autos - To advertise vehicles for sale.
Employment - To advertise job openings.

Q: I created an ad, but it does not show up in search results. Why?
A: You need to run your ad. Go to My Account and click on Run ad to the left of the ad you wish to run. All ads are created in a "draft" status until you are satisfied with the way your ad looks. Once you are happy with the way the ad looks, run it.

Q: How do I stop my ad from running?
A: From the My Account page, click on the Stop link to the left of the ad.

Q: What Category Should I Put My Ad In?
A: Choose the category that best fits your ad. If you think we should ad a new category or sub-category to our site, please contact us.

Q: I don't want my name, phone number or email address to appear on your site. What should I do?
A: You can have all your personal information remain private. Update your personal privacy preferences from the My Account page.

Q: If all my information is private how can a buyer contact me?
A: When your ad appears, instead of showing your contact information the following appears: "This seller has chosen to remain private. You may contact this seller via anonymous email by clicking here." The prospective buyer completes an on-line form and the system sends you an email without revealing your information to the prospective buyer.
