A doula is a labor support provider that accompanies you during labor to help ensure a safe and satisfying birth experience. As a professional labor support provider, whether your choice is a natural birth or one with medical intervention, my job is to provide comfort, security, and relaxation during your labor process.

Those who hire a doula have long-term high level of satisfaction with their birth experiences, feel a sense of accomplishment, control, and an increase in self-esteem. Fathers/ partners also benefit greatly from having a doula present as it will actually improve their enjoyment of the birth experience.With a doula present there is less pressure on the father/partner leaving them free to give their full love and support to the mother.
