The Sacred Concert Series at First United Methodist Church provides eclectic family friendly downtown entertainment at reasonable prices. We have been in existence for 12 years and promoted such artists as Marilyn McCoo/Billy Davis Jr., Nielson and Young Steinway Artists, Sons and Brothers Country Gospel, The Five Browns Steinway Pianists (siblings), The Kiev Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, The American Boychoir, Ballet Magnificat! and numerous others. The Chancel Choir performs with soloists and orchestra 2-3 times per year. Every other year they perform a Patriotic Celebration to honor all uniformed personnel.
