Since 1974, in its established spot on Tejon across from Acacia Park, Jose Muldoon's lives on! This favorite Mexican-American cantina, named after the legendary albeit fictional bandido, Jose Muldoon, also sports a new look, having expanded and incorporated a one-of-a-kind garage-door front facade. Inside, things are spicier than ever. The bar and umbrella-lined back patio remain popular gathering places; Thursday through Sunday nights expect a good crowd on hand to catch the latest music performance and feast on late-night munchies. For those coming to dine at more conventional hours, Jose's menu is built on a foundation of burritos, fajitas, enchiladas, chili rellenos and other traditional Mexican fare (vegetarian also available), as well as a great selection of burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads.
