Open to the Public: Local Chess Playing, Lessons, Tournament Play

Open to the public with most events free !!! Come play a friendly chess game or compete in one of our chess tournaments. You do not need to be a rated player. We hope you will sincerely find the club to be a congenial place for you to come and play the Royal Game of chess. At our weekly meetings you will find many chess players of all abilities and interests, from novice to intermediate to advanced.

Whether you prefer just a casual game or two or are here for serious tournament play, we can accommodate you.

The Right Move Public Chess Club of Colorado Springs has one weekly meeting for pick-up games and tournament style play and a separate weekly meeting off-site for group chess lessons.

Thursday Club Meeting: 6:00 to 9:30pm
Monday Group Lessons: 6:00 to 8:00pm (off-site)

Please contact us if you are interested in joining the club, or just dropping by every once in a while, so that we may plan accordingly. Becoming a member is simply a matter of saying "I want to play chess at Right Move Public Chess Club". There are no compulsory membership fees or dues of any kind. Just come as you are and be ready to play chess.
Some chess sets & clocks will be provided - Bring your own just in case!
