With Jim Adam and his band playing some great music that borders on too much fun, this Good Time Blues Bash will have everyone celebrating Jim’s birthday with glee.
When the seven-member Jim Adam Blues Band is in the house, "get ready for some down-home funky-style Blues Soup.” These cats flat get down.Joining Jim in the kitchen is Andy Baldwin--"the reverend of Funk"--on drums. He stirs the soup and makes it funky style. John Stilwagen's expertise on the keys adds a whole lot a flavor (tabasco sauce, baby).
Verolen Kersey holds up the bottom providing for a thick base (Bass) that gives the simply amazing Frank Perez (the Boston Bluesman) just the right start for adding all kinds of spicy licks on lead guitar.
This past year has been an especially good one for Big Jim with all the more reason for celebration—he and John Stilwagen were 2011 International Blues Challenge Finalists. Come join the party! |
