At Glacier Homemade Ice Cream and Gelato, we're dedicated to bringing you the best ice cream experience in Colorado.
All of our products are made right in our store and hand-mixed to ensure that every scoop is loaded with your favorite ingredients. Unique flavors are our specialty, with a catalogue of over 800 flavors and a new flavor in store every two weeks.
With all of our products, we especially pride ourselves on the freshness of our outstanding flavors. Many ice creams today are made from a list of unpronounceable ingredients several inches long. We're proud of how we've kept our homemade ice cream simple and natural, and how we use local Colorado-grown ingredients whenever possible. None of it matters, though, if the ice cream doesn't taste better as a result. Luckily, ours does! Our flavors taste real because they are real. We do not cut corners. We bring you the best ingredients from local farms and from all around the world, hundreds of outstanding recipes refined through the years, homemade fudge, caramel, and chocolate melts, and perfectly made waffle cones and cake crusts baked in-house according to our own recipes. When it comes to quality, there's simply no substitute.
Our skilled artisans began making our award-winning ice cream and gelato at the first Glacier in Boulder, Colorado in 2001. Since then, our ice cream has won Bronze in the Colorado Springs Independent's "Best of the Springs" awards after only 1 month of being open, Forbes Traveler's Top 10 Ice Cream Stores in America, numerous "Best of Boulder" awards, 5280 magazine's Best Ice Cream award, numerous 1st place Daily Camera awards, and many more!
We are proud to be bringing this same great product and success story to Colorado Springs. We love embracing our Colorado heritage. In that spirit, we feature a variety of locally-produced products, from our own specialty flavors featuring local produce and ingredients, to other products we offer, such as locally roasted coffee from Colorado Coffee Merchants and Patsy's Candies famous chocolate and toffee. Not only is our ice cream fresh and locally made, our coffee is roasted fresh daily just a couple miles down the road. It goes straight from the roasting facility to our store, before being freshly ground for your cup, ensuring you get the absolute best cup possible. Patsy's Candies has been making candy right here in Colorado Springs for over 100 years, and we're excited to be a part of that legacy.
