Description
The Resource Exchange (TRE), serves over 8,800 infants, children, teenagers, adults, and seniors in El Paso, Pueblo, Teller, and Park counties. TRE partners with people who seek support in accessing community resources, assisting them in making informed choices, so they can live the lives they want to live.

We partner with our clients to help them navigate the complex system of supports that our community provides them, walking alongside them to assist them in achieving the quality of life they seek, working closely with the families who love them. TRE has relationships with over 100 community partners to which we refer our families. Our partners join with TRE to increase opportunities for the people we serve.

As of July 1, 2019, The Resource Exchange assumed single point entry responsibilities and now administers all of Colorado’s Medicaid waivers. By bringing all waivers here, we believe we can achieve greater efficiencies and the level of quality for which we are known across the state.

TRE is a state designated Community Centered Board (CCB), one of 20 in Colorado. TRE services include eligibility determination, developmental disability determination, assistance with enrollment into Medicaid or State General Fund programs, service plan development, and arrangement for services, service coordination (case management), and monitoring of services received.

TRE 's Early Intervention teams are geographically located throughout southern Colorado and comprise a collaborative group of physical, occupational, speech, and behavioral therapists, developmental interventionists and nutritionists who work together to come up with the most effective treatment plans for the infants and children they serve, delivering services in the child’s home.
