Bike the Bessemer

Grab your bike and join Palmer Land Conservancy for a memorable bike tour and farm-to-table lunch in one of southern Colorado's verdant farming communities. Savor the beginning of fall with our third annual Bike the Bessemer event – a fun-filled and educational ride showcasing Pueblo County’s premier agricultural lands and essential water resources. The tour will include an easy and enjoyable 12-mile bike ride with stops at local farms and farm stands, where you will receive a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their operations. While you’re there, purchase some fresh produce, and we’ll shuttle it back to your car for you. Along the way, we will ride near the historic Bessemer Irrigation Ditch and learn about this critical water resource's importance in maintaining Pueblo’s agricultural heritage.

After your ride, enjoy a beer or cold beverage and a delicious farm-to-table lunch featuring ingredients sourced directly from the farmers in Pueblo County, catered by Richard Warner, the founder of Bingo Burger. Your registration will include a special and unique lunch program.
