Event Dates and Times
If you marched for science with us and are concerned about our planet's future, then please join us this Sunday at Acacia Park at 11AM to show our community's staunch support for the Paris Climate Agreement and renewable, sustainable energy.

By withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement - which brought together nearly 200 nations to protect the health and prosperity of our communities and our planet - the Trump administration has picked partisan politics over science-based decision-making. They have sided with giant energy companies' short-term profits over the long-term wellbeing of this planet and its inhabitants.

In the absence of leadership from the Trump administration on the issue of climate change, it is more important now than ever to put pressure on our local elected officials to take concrete steps to address this pressing issue. To take action now, sign 350 Colorado Springs' petition asking City Council to act NOW by commiting to a plan to close Martin Drake Power Plant. http://tinyurl.com/yb52jjsb

Tell Governor Hickenlooper to #ActOnClimate http://tinyurl.com/yafwxylg

This action is the first in a series of actions this coalition will be taking to pressure our local government to #ActOnClimate

As always, this will be a civil, non-violent action open to all ages.
