Event Dates and Times
Bernie Sanders and Chuck Schumer have called for nationwide rallies in support of the Affordable Care Act on February 25th, calling GOP efforts to repeal and replace the healthcare legislation “chaos.” “We are encouraging Democratic senators to lead rallies in their states. This is not a Democratic issue, a Republican issue or an Independent issue,” the senators said in a letter. “The overwhelming majority of Americans, regardless of political persuasion, understand that we have to go forward on health care, not backwards.”

In response to this call from Bernie Sanders and Chuck Schumer, the Colorado Springs community is mobilizing to demonstrate our fervent opposition to attempts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. We also rally to show our support for expanding Medicaid so that all can have access to the healthcare they need at the lowest cost possible.

As always, this will be a non-violent, peaceful event open to all generations. Bring your voices, your signs, and your hearts to stand in solidarity with all those who could lose their healthcare coverage if the Affordable Care Act is repealed or replaced.
