In a performance fit for a queen, Parish House Baroque celebrates the legacy of remarkable women through the ages. Experience the regal allure of Queen Christina of Sweden through the compositions of Alessandro Scarlatti and Arcangelo Corelli. Delve into the splendor of Queen Elizabeth I's reign and allow the music of composers from her time sweep you away to the grandeur of her courtly gatherings. In collaboration with Amy Maples, a dancer from Ormao Dance Company and Jeffrey Smith. Works by Corelli, Scarlatti, Dowland, Carissimi and Rebel.
Performances will be held in the beautiful Peel House at First Lutheran Church. Reception to follow.
