Description
This is a local march being coordinated with a national march demanding Trump's tax returns. To learn more visit http://taxmarch.org/

Every president of the United States since Richard Nixon has released their tax returns, and we believe it is essential that President Trump release his tax returns in the pursuit of transparency. Trump’s refusal to release his full tax returns is a rather obvious indication that he wishes to keep this information from the American people; necessity dictates that the people take to the streets to make this demand of our nation’s president.

Despite intense public pressure, President Donald Trump has not yet done so. In refusing to release these tax returns, he is able to hide his business dealings, financial ties, and conflicts of interest.

Within days of his inauguration, the White House petition calling on Trump to release his tax returns garnered the most signatures on a White House petition, ever. The Trump administration's response? "People don't care." WE DO CARE!

We have one simple demand – President Trump must release his tax returns.

We will rally at Acacia Park on April 15th at 12pm to hear from musicians, rally, hear from speakers, and march on downtown Colorado Springs.

The following organizations are coordinating this event:

Unite Colorado Springs
Colorado Action Network
Pikes Peak Progressives
El Paso County Democratic Party
NAACP

We will start with music:

Kevin Mitchell & LordDamage
The Resistance

The following individuals will speak at this event:

Electra Johnson – Chair, Peak Dems
Rosemary Lytle - NAACP
Nori June-Rost - Unitarian Universalist Church
Jillian Freeland - Colorado Action Network
Ryan Barry - Unite Colorado Springs

Colorado Action Network will have direct actions to take to put pressure on Trump at and after the march!

As always this will be a non-violent, family-friendly, and civil event.
