Description

New Orleans is a rich gumbo of cultures: Spanish and French creoles, Cajuns, the descendants of slaves from Africa, the Choctaws and other Native American tribes, and Vietnamese immigrants from the mid-1970’s. Come with me on a trip to historic New Orleans and “laissez les bon temps rouler!”

Julia Hargrove: MA in American History from the University of Texas at Austin; BA with a double major in History and English from WSC (now WSCU) in Gunnison, Colorado.
