I really appreciate that the actual pumpkin flavor comes through so well in this beer. It is clearly made with real, no-foolin’ pumpkins. The malt bill is complex and fun, while not becoming too overwhelming.
This is a nice porter, I really like the smoke addition, it is not a dominant note, but is significant and adds lots of interesting complexity to this Porter.
This year’s Pinon Nut Brown Ale is named Cheyenne Canyon Ale since all proceeds will got to the preservation of North Cheyenne Canyon. Anyone who has been to North Cheyenne Canyon will know how beautiful it is. This beer honors that beauty appropriately.
“Perfect beer for being active like mountain biking and backcountry skiing. Or just sitting on the deck thinking about mountain biking and backcountry skiing.”
